Tried to write haiku
But words wouldn't get in line
Can't write what's in my heart
Have neither patience nor the time
Want to give up
Want to curl up
Want to turn my head away
Cannot shake dissatisfaction
that is standing in my way
Something not quite right here
I do not know what ails me
Try to listen to my inner self
but that bitch too often fails me
